We have a total of 7 Freshwater Turtles in our care here at the Dolphin Marine Conservation Park. 5 of these are Macquarie Short Neck turtles and 2 of these are Eastern Long Neck turtles.
Green Sea Turtles
Green sea turtles are one of the world’s largest species of turtle, weighing around 65-130kg and measuring between 1-1.2m long.
Australian Sea Lion
With fourteen pups born here in the past twenty years (several pups have since moved to other Australian marine mammal facilities), Dolphin Marine Conservation Park has the most successful breeding record for the endangered Australian Sea Lion of any facility worldwide.
The dolphins in our care are the offspring of animals that were rescued and brought to Dolphin Marine Conservation Park for care. Unfortunately, these dolphins were so badly injured they would not have survived in the wild.
Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin
Little Blue Penguin
A colony of Little Blue Penguins calls Dolphin Marine Conservation Park home. Did you know that their blue colour is unique among penguin species?
