See a variety of fish, sharks and rays as you DISCOVER the significance of The Solitary Island Marine Park located off the Coffs Coast. Learn why sustainable fishing (fish size and number limits) is so important.

Learn about our amazing enrichment program as animal care team members engage with our animals. You may be invited to participate! EXPERIENCE why enrichment is so important for all our animals at Dolphin Marine Conservation Park for mental and physical stimulation.

From flipper to feather learn everything penguin! Visit Penguin Shores and EXPERIENCE the world’s smallest species of penguin – Little Blue Penguins. Our team will introduce you to the unique personalities of these delightful creatures. DISCOVER how you can pledge to help save them and their friends by signing up for our #PetsInsideSaveLives campaign and conservation initiative.

11.30   Marine Dreamtime Story*

Hear the Dreamtime story from local Gumbaynggirr elder, Uncle Mark Flanders, and experience the cultural significance of marine mammals in our environment. See our marine mammal ambassadors display natural behaviours and learn how you can ACT to help save our oceans.  DISCOVER the difference between seals and sea lions and how we work to protect and conserve our endangered Australian sea lions.

12.15   Wonderful Welfare

DISCOVER the importance of behavioural training and see how our team develops close relationships with our animals to maintain optimal welfare. As a Zoo and Aquarium Association (ZAA) accredited facility we follow the 5 Domains approach to animal welfare. The 5 domains comprise; Nutrition, Environment, Health, Behaviour and overall Mental state.

EXPERIENCE how our dedicated team encourage our marine mammal ambassadors to demonstrate their natural behaviours in our Marine Discovery Presentation. Talk to our animal care team and have your questions answered. You may even have the opportunity to participate.
