Slide Animal Carer Experience for Kids in Coffs Harbour

Animal Carer Experience

 

The Animal Carer Experience (ACE) is a fantastic opportunity for kids and teens aged 8-16 to experience life as a Marine Animal Carer during school holidays in Coffs Harbour. They will get to enjoy helping feed & care for the wildlife in our park and our specialised Rehabilitation Hospital. Be warned- children will go home smelling like fish!

ACE runs with a minimum of 6 children, up to a maximum group of 10. The Animal Carer Experience (ACE) runs Saturdays and Wednesdays throughout the school holidays. 

Here’s what a kid lucky enough to enjoy ACE will experience:

  • ACE will be hosted from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm
  • Lunch at our Creekside Cafe
  • Printed 6 x 8 photo of your child
  • Personalised Certificate
  • VIP Seating for Marine Dreamtime
  • VIP Tour of Dolphin Marine Conservation Park
  • Feed and care for sick and injured sea turtles
  • Get splashed by our fish, rays, and sharks
  • Meet freshwater turtles up close
  • Provide enrichment for our little blue penguins
  • Interact with our sea lions and their favourite toys
  • Watch as our dolphins interact with their environment

What to Bring:

  • Enclosed Footwear
  • Hat & Sunscreen
  • Camera – your child can take photos to record a personal memento of their experience

  • ACE Ticket Price: $275 per child
  • Minimum Group Size: 6 children
  • Maximum Group Size: 10 children 
  • Availability: Saturdays & Wednesdays throughout the school holidays
