Sydney Uni Students spend the week with us
Four students from the University of Sydney are completing a week of practical experience at Dolphin Marine Magic. As part of their degree, veterinary
students are required to visit a range of different clinical settings- everything from small animal practices to dairy farms. Part of this placement
is categorized as “elective” meaning the students get to focus on an area that they are interested in.
Dolphin Marine Magic is one of the two institutions in the country that is can offer University students some hands-on practical experience in marine
animals. During the week they will learn how to look after marine animals under human care, with a focus on animal welfare, and the best way to
investigate events where marine animals strand on the beach.
