Seal the Loop Appreciation Day
‘On Tuesday 7th June 2016 we celebrated our Annual Seal the Loop Appreciation Day. Thanking the local businesses, schools and the members of our Coffs Coast community involved in this amazing lifesaving program. The day was full of fun as we explored the park and met some of the ambassadors of the Seal the Loop Program; Calamity one of our dolphins who was rescued not once but twice due to severe fishing line entanglement and Adelaide our rescued orphaned Australian Sea Lion. Meeting these beautiful animals up close has strengthened the communities support and purpose of this program; prevent fishing related injuries on Marine Animals. We look forward to continuing to raise awareness and support for the Seal the Loop Program and getting more businesses and schools involved. Let’s help Seal The Loop Together!’
