Rescued, Rehabilitated & Released
Dolphin Marine Magic released two green sea turtles today after both were given the all clear after some much needed rehabilitation. One of the turtles had recently taken a baited hook in the Coffs Harbour fishing region and was caught by the fisherman and brought to DMM to not only remove the hook but also to be treated and monitored to prevent infection. The other turtle named “Wendy” has been in care since August 2015 and was suffering from what is known as “floating syndrome”
