What is Ocean Art?
Local primary schools were invited to take place in the inaugural EcoGrom art competition “Ocean Art”, which is a competition between participating
schools where students are encouraged to construct a piece of art made entirely from marine debris.
The entries we have received are exceptional with six local schools participating; Sawtell Public, Kororo Public, Sandy Beach Public, Boambee Public,
Coffs Harbour Public & William Bayldon Public.
The exhibition / competition will be on display in the research & education marquee at Dolphin Marine Conservation Park for the entire school holidays.
Voting for the best artwork is via gold coin donation, with all proceeds raised to go towards to purchase of a SeaBin for the Coffs Harbour Marina.
The winning school will have an exclusive invite to participate in the release of a sea turtle!
