Marine rescue workshop a success
On Saturday 7th March, senior members of Dolphin Marine Rescue ran a workshop for participants wanting to learn more about how to help with the rescue,
rehab &
release of marine wildlife once injured & under human care.
30 people registered for our 1 day workshop where they also learnt all about the biology of marine wildlife, common causes of injury and best-practice
animal handling.
This course is particularly useful for volunteers who want to help out at strandings and other marine rescue situations.
Successful participants will go onto a register and will be called out to help with marine wildlife events as needed.
Thank you to all who attended.
