Dolphin Marine Conservation Park is pleased to offer volunteer, work experience and work placement opportunities to individuals who wish to gain practical knowledge working with animals. You must share our passion for the conservation of animals, particularly marine mammals, and their environment.

Dolphin Marine Conservation Park has been caring for marine wildlife for over 50 years. We offer a unique and interactive animal experience for our guests.  Visitors who experience our animals up close and discover our conservation programs are inspired to act to protect precious marine animals and their endangered environments.

Please download and complete the Volunteer Application form below. Applications must be emailed to volunteer@dmcvp.com.au. Please note: due to the limited number of spaces in our program we cannot guarantee requested dates.  Work experience programs are not available during the NSW school holidays.

Successful applicants for the work experience program will receive hands-on practice working in various areas of Dolphin Marine Conservation Park.
Students will participate in duties including cleaning enclosures, food buckets and the fish kitchen, assisting with food preparation, helping with the reef tank, Little Blue Penguins and other animal feedings, caring for the aquariums, crowd control and helping guests with activities.
Participants may also have the opportunity to work with Dolphin Marine Rescue Animal Rehab Trust and care for some of the sick and injured wildlife we are nursing in the park.
The work experience placement runs for five days, Monday to Friday, from 8.30 am to 3.45 pm with a one-hour lunch break.
