Grant approved – Dolphin Lagoon Beach
Destination NSW is pleased to advise Pet Porpoise Pool – Dolphin Marine Magic that the Stream Two Regional Tourism Product Development Program application for $100,000 to develop Pet Porpoise Pool Pty Limited – Dolphin Marine Magic was approved.
The Assessment Panel advised that the standard of applications and the projects proposed was very high.
The Assessment Panel comprised DNSW, FORTO and independent tourism representatives. They assessed the 100 Stream 2 applications received against the funding criteria and the aims of the program as outlined in the funding conditions. The assessment process was on a competitive basis as the available funding was oversubscribed by almost 5 times. The panel recommended only 16 applications totalling the full funding available.
The funding is for a facelift of the ‘Dolphin Lagoon’ which will enable the company to develop better disabled access, amenities and new products and services.
